The 2012 Hillsborough Living History Event was a big success
Greetings:
It’s hard to believe Summer is almost behind us. The cool morning breezes are ushering in a new season and soon, the Fall foliage will be a thing to behold. Fortunately, I have a pretty good view of the seasonal changes from our workshop.
Camille, the kids, and I have been quite busy making pewter! The pewter charms and charm bracelets have been very popular and we hope to have pictures of all the new charms up on the website soon.
We decided to introduce our Annual Christmas Ornament early this year. The 2012 Annual Ornaments are Pewter Snowflakes. One is called the Hammered Snowflake because of the dimple pattern on the surface and the other is called the Geometric Snowflake because of its intricate pattern. Each ornament is hand cast and comes in a gift box with a red hanging ribbon.
The Hillsborough Area Artisans Fall Studio Tour is fast approaching. If you can join us, I’ll be demonstrating metal spinning Saturday & Sunday, September 15th & 16th from 9 am – 5 pm. Visit www.hillsboroughartisans.com for more information and directions. Come and join us!
NH Open Doors Studio Tour is coming up Saturday & Sunday, November 3rd & 4th. I’ll be demonstrating that weekend as well. This is a big, state wide event, so you’ll need to visit www.nhopendoors.com and plan ahead. Most folks pick a region each year and go from there. Lots of fun!
Antique of the Month
This month we’re offering a marked antique British 16 5/8″ charger by George Lowes, Newcastle on Tyne, circa 1725-65. A scarce item in very good, uncleaned condition.
